Description:

HM60 is developed based on Hyperbolic Manta balsa build-up DLG. By properly selecting a suitable airfoil, we have created a low drag, good energy retention and high performance electric sailplane for F5K.

Design & Construction:
- Planform: Elliptic Manta DLG planform
- Airfoil: AG modified, transitional with aerodynamic washout
- Open bay design with dedicated balance between weight and strength
- Two piece wings with carbon fiber joiner (also serve as ballast)
- Snap-on canopy
- 3D printed jig and wing bed for precision alignment during assembly
- 3D printed with LW PLA

Vital:

Span - 60 (in)
Area - 361 (in2)
Mass - 13.8 (oz)
Loading - 5.49 (oz/ft2)
