3D model description

Hello,

When I was young boy we made such kind of gymnast from wood in school. Some efforts are needed to build the toy.

You will need printer with 200 mm build plate as minimum.

You need to print following files:

1.The gymnast beam right - 1 pc.
2.The gymnast beam left - 1 pc.
3. The gymnast - middle beam - 1pc.
4. The gymnast - pin for assembly beams to middle beams - 4pcs.
5. The gymnast - body of the gimnast - 1pc.
6.The gymnast - arms of the gimnast - 2pcs.
7.The gymnast - Pin for assembly arms to body - 1 pcs.
8. The gymnast - beams side covers - 2 pcs.

You will need sewing thread or small rope with maximum diameter of 2mm.

Assembly instructions:

  1. Assemble left and right beams to middle beam by inserting 2 pins on each side in defined holes.

  2. Assemble the arms of the gymnast to the body by inserting the pin. Tolerances are set to assemble with small pressing force.

  3. Pass the sewing thread end through the holes on the left beam, cross them through the arms holes and cross them again to the right beam.

  4. The distance between both beams left and right must be equal to middle beam. Tie the two ends of the sewing thread.

  5. Assemble beam left and right side covers.

Enjoy it!

Greetings!

3D printing settings

The parts was printed on flashforge creator pro 2 in PLA. I used standard profile for PLA.
