This is a sanding bow where you can adjust the tension of your desired sanding strip by adjusting the tension screw either tighter or looser. Both tight and loose settings has their own benefits and uses

- Can use generic sandpaper sheet cut into strips manually.

This wasn't my first time of having this tool. In fact, this model is a complete redesign over the previous sanding bow (https://www.printables.com/model/34659-adjustable-tension-sanding-tool) that I had. This worked well for me.

The attachment included also serves as a means to preserve a flat edge of the object you wanted to sand on, or pressed against a curved surface of the object depending on what you want to achieve. Attachments are interchangeable between soft or hard, completely up to you.

Bill of Materials
- 2 x Limb Sets of your choice
- 1 x Adjuster Plate
- 4 x Linkage of your desired length
- 1 x Handle
- 4 x Spacer (Only if you're using Handle 10.stl

[1] In this manner, you would wrap the sanding strip around the handle part, then you may use the handle as a flat surface like a sanding stick. You may print a "sled xx hard.stl" attachment and use it as handle this way. It is recommended to be used with Handle 20.stl.
[2] Spacers are meant to be used only if you're using Handle 10.stl so that the handle will stay in place
[3] All clips in the Plate folder are Clip0.stl or 20mm

3D printing settings

  • PLA are not recommended, But usable.
  • 3 walls/Perimeter.
  • Enable support where needed.
  • Reorient the objects if they're not optimized.
