3D model description

This white alabaster block was the beginning of a blue whale sculpture which took a few months to complete. Its creation was inspired from a poem from Jay Macpherson called “Eternity like a crystal wall”, which eludes to finding peace and understanding amidst the illusion of separation in space and time. The blue whale has been given the appearance of rising above the water, and in the currents below, is woven the symbol of eternity. To view this video and more pieces, please see my channel!

This is the 3D scan with improvements from an alabaster block which was carved into a blue whale. Meticulously crafted over several months. Its genesis was sparked by Jay Macpherson's evocative poem, 'Eternity like a crystal wall,' resonating with finding peace and understanding amidst the illusion of separation in space and time. Hence why the original sculpture is called “Eternity”.

The majestic blue whale appears to ascend from the depths of the ocean, while delicate currents intertwine, forming the eternal symbol below.
