3D model description

Berserk Guts' sword when he is the captain of Hawk Raiders. It is a highly detailed model spesifically designed for 3D printing. All details are real engraves or reliefs. Sliced into pieces so all parts are to be printable in all 3D printers. Ideal for cosplaying or maybe you're Guts and you just need your sword :)

--Dimensions—

There is 2 different blades, short and long one. If you use short one, the sword will 180cm total. If you use long one, the sword will 210 cm which is its original length in manga. Since not everybody are Guts, ı thought it will be better to add short version of it.

--Assembling—

I sliced all the parts into pieces under 25cm in all axis. There is 2 version of same parts, flat one and scratched metal textured one. Flat one has smooth surface. Textured one has engraved scratches on metal parts. You can go dull textured version or full flat version. Or you can combine them like textured blade, flat handguard etc. It's up to your taste.
There is rod slots inside of the sword. Sınce it will be too big and heavy, it can't stay one piece without breaking so i added rod slots for metal rods as skeleton. the diameter of rods should be 1 centimeter. If you choose short blade, you'll need 2 pieces of 130cm rods and 1 piece of 170cm rod. If you choose long version, you'll need 2 pieces of 160cm rod and 1 pieces of 200cm rod. You can use shorter rods. As long as the central rod and secondary rods cross themselves, there would be no problem. You can check the images to see the alignments of the rods.
And don't forget to use strong glues while assembling. dowels are just for easy alignment while assembling.

--Recommended Printing Options—

I suggest that you have done tolerance and flow rate tests on your 3d printer before you start printing the model. I recommend minimum 3 walls ( i guess 5 would be perfect) and 10% - 30% infill rate for all parts, For grip parts, it should be higher, 50% imo. It is a big prop. It should be durable but in the same time, it shouldn't be too heavy as well. If the plugs and sockets have difficulties or do not enter each other, you could adjust your flow rate or could choose " exclusive " on slicing tolerance option.

If you have any questions or requests, feel free to message me. I'll gladly help as much as i can.
