3D model description

This is a 15mm version of my larger 28mm TAC fighter

I have pre-assembled so obviously comes in fewer parts...but will still need minor assembly of small parts

The included ZIP files contain chitubox pre-supported plates, tbh I have never been a fan of pre-supported files, they often fail for me for many reasons including type of printer, settings, condition of FEP and often, I swear, the positions of the the Stars! However, these work 100% on my original Saturn using zoom settings so if you want to have a punt, good luck! :)

Print to order kits can be found on eBay under my seller name 'Sigmar109'

Pro tip...if printing in PLA, after assembly give the whole model 2 or 3 heavy coats of primer filler spray (i use Autotek). This will bring the whole model together, fill gaps and help smooth out print lines, seriously, this is what makes a good looking PLA model into an amazing 'is that resin or PLA' model ;)

I highly recommend printing this in resin, I am not saying it cannot be done in PLA but you will have to have a well dialled in printer and not be afraid of removing support around some very delicate parts!

have fun!

3D printing settings

I generally am able to fit 2 TACS to a Saturn (original) base. orientate them 45 degree nose up and auto support using your slicer of choice. I always go in manually and add extra supports however because auto support is never 100% successful, you can't beat the good old Mk1 eyeball!

I recommend hollowing out the model and leaving a couple of breather holes on the bottom to allow for draining, cleaning, curing the interior and expansion in hot weather
