3D model description

For laser diode module 35mm
This model is based on the principle of blowing air towards the focus of the diode laser, preventing the fire and smoke in some cuts or engravings from burning the material.
It is an economical solution, which does not replace the compressor-pressurized air assist, more expensive.
Materials used:
1- Laser Module Fan Support 3D printed
2- (3) M3 x 15mm screws
3- (1) cooler fan 40 x 40 x 20mm (known as 4020- 12V
4- (1) 12V font
5- female connector to connect to the font

Instructions:
a- Fit the fan in the place called "fan" with the air flow pointing downwards, according to the arrow. Screw, but without the need for much tightening, it is very firm.
b- Attach the Laser Module Fan Support to the laser module labeled "lase", following the direction of the arrow. Tighten with the two screws, too, without too much force so as not to damage the piece.
c- Connect the positive wire from the font to the positive wire from the fan. Do the same with the negative wire. Optionally use a connector, it has a better finish.

If your controller has a 12V output, you can also use it, as long as it has a maximum of 2A and respects the correct polarity.

If your module is larger than 35mm in width, please contact me, and I can, as far as possible, model it with the requested size.

3D printing settings

I used the Prusa Slicer 2.6.4 and a Ender 3 V2 3D Printer
Filament used: PLA HT (high temperature), you can use any one that supports temperature above 80Β° (ABS, PETG, etc). I don't recommend "regular" PLA.

Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer Height: 0.2mm
First layer height: 0.3mm
Perimeter: 3 layers
Filling: 80%
Fill pattern: gyroid
Brim (external only): 6mm
Edge Spacing: 0.1mm
Support: Organic / 40Β° straight pattern
