Hardware Needed:

This system was designed to use commonly available hardware:
- Drill Bits (9/64" for Studs, 5/16" for Drywall)
- #12 Wood Screws (Use appropriate length for your installation)
- Toggler 1/2" Drywall Anchors (Amazon: https://a.co/d/7icmPwP)
- 3/4" Dowel Rods of your chosen length
- Drill Template for whichever brackets you're using.

The holes on the drill templates will allow you to mark the locations for your pilot holes. A line is included on each template indicating the height of the top of the dowels for reference.

Files Included:
- Two Middle Bracket Styles (For Studs & Drywall)
- Right and Left End Brackets (For Studs & Drywall)
- Tolerance Test Print
- Drill Templates for each bracket type

3D printing settings

All the files are pre-oriented so you can download and get straight to printing.

All models fit within a 220x220 build plate. For that build volume, the brackets are a tight fit in the X direction, so consider decreasing your skirt distance/brim width so everything fits. When centered on the build plate, Middle Bracket 1 has ~2.25mm clearance on each side. The side brackets and Middle Bracket 2 have ~3.75mm clearance on each side.

I would recommend starting by printing the tolerance test to make sure things fit how you'd like. Tolerances were built into the design, but you may need to adjust your expansion settings to get the optimal fit. The tolerance test includes holes to verify the dowel fit, and the fit of both a #12 and #8 screw.

The brackets should be printed for strength. PLA should work just fine if you're only storing filament. For extra robustness, use PETG. I would recommend using at least 4 walls with a minimum 30% infill. I would also recommend increasing the infill to 50% locally around the screw holes. This can be done in Cura with support blockers or in Prusa Slicer with modifiers.
