3D model description

I made this scratcher for my cats which sticks on the corner of a wall for them to scratch their faces. It slides into two brackets that mount on the wall so you can slide it up out of the brackets and refill it with catnip whenever you'd like. I made the brackets the size to fit 3M Command Strips. There's a lid that snaps on to hold the catnip and some vent holes to let the scent out. Zuko was scratching his face while I was trying to stick it onto my wall!

3D printing settings

I used .2 layer height for the brackets and lid. I used .24 for the scratcher and regret not doing .2 because the vent holes would have looked more polished. (I'd reprint it but that aqua is my favorite filament and it seems to be discontinued.)

The brackets should print standing up.
The scratcher should also be standing up and will need supports on the plate to go under the brackets.
The lid should be printed upside down with the pegs standing upward.

I used three walls and 10% infill. Could probably use less infill.

Print two brackets.
