3D model description

This little tank was designed in Fusion 360 and I would call it a somewhat advanced build. It is operated from a cell phone app over wifi. I used Blynk to build the control app. I have included a detailed bill of materials and sorted the items within the bill to reference assembly pictures. You may take this as far as you like and only print out the tracks to go with your own vehicle or build it all the way up including the body & turret, customizing it into your own steampunk creation. The photo shows it with a drone fpv camera in the turret. I have not made the camera functional at this time. If you decide to use this battery box design, I suggest using a pair of forceps (as shown in the picture) as a heat sink when soldering the wires. Also, I an showing the model with upper track sliders instead of wheels. I have included the stl files for the small wheels if you wish to substitute.

Here's an assembly tip. It is essential that the sprockets are aligned correctly when they are glued to the sprocket hub. Glue the first sprocket to the hub and while the glue is drying, pin 12 track sections together. Glue the second sprocket to the hub and while the glue is still wet, wrap the track section around the assembly.

Comment on the twin battery box. This design was intended for two 18650 batteries to be wired in parallel. As I recall, the Tamaya motors are rated at 3.5v max. If you wire the batteries in series you will need to drop the voltage to the motors through a buck converter or other method.
