universal volkswagen shift knob, up, golf, jetta, polo, etc

universal, customizable shift knob/stick for a lot of volkswagen cars.
the model is a blank, clean shift knob with only a blank stick on top, it's up to you to chose and edit: any other model you want on top and the height of the stick you want on top of it.

i recommend that any changes to the model are made on tinkercad, it's the easiest and fastes way to edit it.
it already comes in 2 versions, a 120mm tall and a 150mm tall one
together with height spacers to fit multiple shift steel bars from diferent vw cars and a disc extension to help on editing the height

both versions are designed with editing in mind, the main body is easy to add stuff to, with a simple erase and group tool and the height is easy to increase with the disc extension.

the model was already tested in a g4 and g5 polo, multiple jettas, multiple vw ups (mpi and tsi), multiple vw golfs and virtually any other car with the stock short 5 or 6 speed manual (use the 2019 up tsi manual as an example)

the stick, without any spacers, is made to be used in a vw up tsi, 5 speed manual.
it's fixed to the shift rod via metal cramp or zipties at the base
and the cloth on the shifter is fixed via an internal ziptie or the stock vw lock depending on the car (the design has multiple fix points)

-print in petg or pc (abs, asa, and similar can also be used)

-print in laying down, sideways(------) (to minimize supports and increase strenght, besides, almost 95% of the scarring won't be visible once you install it)

-use at least 4 perimeters (6 ideal) and at least 8 bottom layers (11 ideal)
