3D model description

I designed this quickly for a roommate of mine who water-skis. I noticed he was drying out his waterski gloves at the end of the day by mounting them on water bottles, so I offered to design something simple to increase drying efficiency. The "hand" pieces could also function as a golf glove storage tool (to prevent the glove from getting bunched up in your bag).

3D printing settings

To make the complete assembly you need to print 2 of the "glove_stand_hand" pieces and 1 of the "glove_stand_base" models.

--The original upload of the glove_stand_hand was drawn in units of inches, so you may need to scale by a factor of 25.4 to print.... I recently added "glove_stand_hand_scaled", which should open correctly on a machine set to mm without the need for scaling.

The glove stand assembly will sit upright without additional mounting, however there are two counter-sunk screw holes for use with screws of your choice (drywall screws work nicely).

The "hand" pieces were printed at 15% infill with 3 perimeters.

The "base" piece was printed at 20% infill and 4 perimeters because of the slopes on the end (I wanted to make sure there weren't gaps for water to enter the inside of the part).

Other ideas that came to mind that I probably will not do, would be integrating a battery compartment in the base part, along with a 40mm CPU (DC) fan or two to help speed up drying. However, I don't think this would make a very large difference.

Good luck, and make sure to post pictures if you decide to make this! This is also a great option for golf gloves to prevent the glove from getting mashed up in your bag (printing one of the hands is all you'd need).
