3D model description

The Roman Gladius is an iconic sword. This is a faithful life-size copy, inspired from a gladius found in Pompeii, already divided in parts that fits every printer with a 20x20x20 print volume. You can print it for cosplay, game or as an exhibit items.

No supports needed: print and join the parts together. You can use glue, using internal rods to gave more strenght and stability: in the .zip file, you will find three folder.

FDM_NH: standard gladius with no holes;
FDM_52: gladius with 5,2 mm cavities that allow you to insert two 5 mm rods, with an overall lenght of 600 mm. 0,2 mm is ideal for well tuned 3D printers;
FDM_60: gladius with 6 mm cavities that allow you to insert two 5 mm rods, with an overall lenght of 600 mm. 1 mm tollerance is ideal for standard 3D printers, giving you the extra space needed to insert the rod even if your printers is not very precise making holes;

You can use wooden rod, they are cheap and already used in cosplay making, metal rod or even 3D printed rod!
