3D model description

MakerFarm Prusa i3v Z Axis Couplers. Dimensioned .022" over to allow for material shrinkage. The stepper side of the coupler fits nicely onto the stepper shaft with minimal interference. Clean up the lead screw side I.D. with a .187" drill. Very little material will be removed. It will thread straight onto the lead screw. Make sure to clean up coupler mating surfaces so both sides fit together to your liking. This should be minimal as well. I suggest you make these from a material other than PLA. The heat from the motor shaft will soften the material in the motor side coupler. ABS, PETG, or Nylon may be a better candidate.

Use version 2 if you would like the couplers to snap together easier. Also resized the lead screw side I.D. so that there is no need to use a drill bit to clean out. Stepper side shaft fitting is a little tighter.

Added ZAxisCouplers_Short in case X axis rail clearance is an issue or if you simply would like smaller couplers.

Update 11/16/2019: Added M5 x .8 threads to the lead screw side couplers. Probably should have done that a long time ago but I was new to 3D modeling at the time, and didn't know how to model in threads. Sorry for taking so long to add threads. Also cut the group quantity in half so you don't have to print 4 pieces at a time. You can just duplicate the group of two.

Update 11/17/2019: Added a split clamp style for the stepper side coupler. M3 x .5 threads.
