This little guy loves to sit on your desk and help you make things. He's Maker the bot!

My entry for the Makerbot/GrabCAD robot mascot competition( http://grabcad.com/library/maker-bot ). Not just a cute robot but also a fully functional set of helping hands. Fun and functional! There are a few iterations of the head.

The hand/clips are modifications of J_Hodgie's clips ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5580 ) if you couldn't tell.

EDIT: Changed the body/logo connectors based off the screw library and adjusted some tolerances on the joints. Be sure to download the V2 zips or stls.

3D printing settings

Illustrated assembly instructions included in PDF format.

Print each plate in a different color. Place the neck and shoulder joints in the body, hold the front and back of the body together and place the logo in the chest to hold the body together. (Glue is optional.) Snap the head and longer arms into the joints, snap the shorter arms as wrists to the end of the arms. Construct the clips with the U-spring in the middle and snap the clips to the wrists.
