3D model description

It is a small spinning top propelled by our lungs, I had already designed a traditional spinning top but I had the concern to make something propelled without the use of strings, so I decided to design this little spinning top using some principles of aerodynamics and propulsion...The more air you blow through the nozzle generates more revolutions, you do not have to make great effort to make it revolve, you can vary the blowing and it will vary the speed and it will remain stable....the interesting thing is that when blowing it produces a sound like a turbine...you can even use it to de-stress for a while to spin with repetitive blowing is quite entertaining...ideal to distract the children at home and observe the applications of physics, aerodynamics etc...here the video of operation https://youtu.be/QMfVPeJk7q4

The link to the assembly video is inside the stl folder, a Word file with the link.....

3D printing settings

Used Kingroon Kp3s 3.0, the file includes the stl, you must use a steel nail of those that bring the staples to fix power cables, the design is based on the diameter of that nail, is the only thing, from the rest all the parts are printed, the file called top, I left the border (about 10 lines) and place it in the assembly (you can leave it or remove it) you can see in the assembly video (I include it with the download), any scaling or modification in the design can generate that it does not work correctly, I recommend not to scale or modify, I printed the top at 100% fill height of layer 0.16, I did not use supports, only border (it is not mandatory, I only use it to prevent it from peeling off during printing) I printed it with the vanes towards the bed (you can see the photo); as for the casing I did use supports (you can see in the photos), as for the assembly it only needs a small nail (use the one that comes in the staples to fix electricity cables, see photo) this acts as an axis, enters pressure, the small stop must be in contact with the tube and not the casing (must be a millimetric separation)....I used only one wall line for all the parts...layer height 0.16 (just for aesthetics) you can use the ones you like...https://youtu.be/QMfVPeJk7q4
