3D model description

Hello !

Here is a drum magazine for the Airsoft replica Tokyo Marui Saiga-12K. It has a capacity of around 1000bbs, feeds nicely due to the Flashmag internals, and uses the internal gas tank of an original magazine.

You will need to get this hardware :

4x M4x5 (preferably ISO 4762)

4x M4 Inserts

1x HPA Valve for Tokyo Marui mags (even though it can run on gaz)

1x 3mm spring (I used a stretched tappet plate spring).

1x Flashmag: I used a mag from the brand Lonex. Still, when it arrived it was in a box under the "DBOYS" name, so I Guess Lonex and DBOYS are actually the same mags. I bought it at this link :

https://www.amazon.fr/AIRSOFT-LONEX-MAGAZINE-360RDS-TOMTAC/dp/B078KDPCYS

If you want to adapt some other mechanics to it, I included a "blank.stp" model which is basically a hollow shell, to give you a work base.A version with a trapdoor for easier refilling is included.

Make sure your mag feeds flawlessly before trying, take your time to understand how it works, and trust me, after testing it... You won't be able to go back.

Please have a look at this assembly video :

Have fun !

3D printing settings

Print the "feedpart" lying on it's side, to get the most strenght out of it. Supports everywhere needed. Sand every contact patch.

The feedtube with the flat surface on the buildplate, no supports.

Drum body the the flat surface on the buildplate, supports everywhere on the inside (where the gaz tank goes). Take your time to clean it after on. Glue the "back" part to it to get the nice waffle style.
