3D model description

This is a Game Boy button fidget keychain!
There are 3 versions: a slim version with only a/b buttons, a slightly thicker version with a d-pad on the back, and an Apple AirTag holder version with A/B buttons on the front.

The front, middle and back pieces print great face-down in PLA, but I highly recommend printing the button wells in resin if you can, otherwise the buttons will rub against the layers when you push them.

You'll also need some buttons and membranes (you will need to trim off the screw hole bits from the a/b button membrane). You can get these all over, but I've found the tolerances can vary quite a bit so your mileage may vary with how well they fit. You can get the ones I used here: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256802332586938.html

As well as some 2mm self-tapping screws, which you can get on amazon.

Have fun!

Update 08/17/2023: made the area around the keychain hole a little thicker and added some material behind it - it's MUCH stronger now, especially when printed with 100% infill.

3D printing settings

0.2mm layer height, 2 perimeters, no supports.
You'll want very good layer adhesion for the keychain hole. I print mine with 100% infill and fan at 50%; this makes it very very difficult to break.
