3D model description

A magnetic base for DnD (or Tabletop in general) Terrain!
Note this is a base for other terrain you can find online.

(The top terrain part in the pictures is not included!)

The idea is to have a modular easy to setup terrain base.
You can combine it with any Inch based terrain files/3dprints in the slicer to directly print as one piece.

  • Only 4 magnets per tile!
  • No glue required!
  • Easy Alignment!
  • Material-efficient design!
  • No Support required!

Snap fit for magnets eliminate the need for glue. The edges have alignment features so they easily snap into the right place.

Files included:
- 1x1 Base
- 1x2 Base
- 2x2 Base
- 2x2 Base with CaveFloor (as an example)

3D printing settings

  • Print in place with your added terrain on top added in the slicer.
    (E.g. in Prusa Slicer import the top as a new part for the base then move it to be above with a small overlap and print)

  • The small fins at the bottom can be cut away after printing they are to ensure good print quality.

  • Both PLA and PETG (and probably any other material) work.

  • 20% infill
