The Panzerkampfwagen VII, better known as the Maus, was the heaviest tank ever built in the world. Only two hulls of this tank model were produced, one of which also had a turret. This still exists today in the Kubinka tank museum. The models were designed and built by Porsche and bore the project numbers 205/1 and 205/2. It weighed 188 tons and was equipped with a 12.8 cm KwK and a 7.5 cm Kwk. In addition, the Maus also had an MG 42, which could be fired from the open hatch.
