I love board games with lots of content, but always want to keep my collections compact and I hate plastic baggies. I thought it was a bit much that the Everdell Big Box O' Storage takes up more shelf space than Twilight Imperium, so I made this alternative.

This insert will fit all of the bas game content, plus all expansions (Pearlbrook, Spirecrest, Mistwood, Newleaf, Extra Extra, Bellfaire, and Glimmergold) in one package with no box bulge.

This was not made to fit my Lil Everdell, the deluxe wooden tree, or the deluxe resource vessels and I have not tested incorporating the freshwater expansion cards.

Everything was designed with easy set up in mind, so you should be able to pull everything out and start playing in minutes, without fiddling with a bunch of plastic baggies.

Your base game box will hold all of the games small components using the printed inserts. The tree and rulebooks are placed on top of this in a square tray. You will need one expansion lid, which you will put all of the flat cardboard game boards (including the player boards included in Bellfaire and Mistwood), then place the base game box inside of it, on top of the boards, and place the base game lid over the top.

The cardboard tree and rulebooks are kept on top of the other main box components in a square tray. This tray is too large for most consumer grade print beds, so it is divided into quarters to print separately and includes tabs to assist with gluing. Superglue worked great for me.

Space is tight so this design will not fit sleeved cards.

The quantity of items needed is included in the file names.

3D printing settings

The quantity needed for each part is included in the file name, but most parts only needed to be printed once. The exceptions are the worker trays type A through C, which should be printed twice.

The cardboard tree and rulebooks are kept on top of the other main box components in a square tray. This tray is too large for most consumer grade print beds, so it is divided into quarters to print separately and includes tabs to assist with gluing. Superglue worked great for me.

It is most efficient to print the quarters of the tray on their sides with the upper tab pointing upward, to cut down on support material, with the exception of tray piece D which should be printed flat on the bottom.

This project should not require any infill.
