3D model description

This scale accurate replica of the Pilatus PC-21 is designed for quick and easy construction and printed using regular PLA. Designed to suit the 4250 800kv motor this model has a significant amount of power and is happy to cruise around at 40% power on 4s. Utilizing 6 channels; Ailerons, Elevator, Flaps, Rudder,Throttle and retractable sprung landing gear, this model is sure to turn some heads at the local flying field. The modular design means it has the capability to be broken down into smaller sections for either easy transporting or changing parts should it be required.

COOL FEATURES:

Scale Flaps - The flaps for this model have been designed to be as close to scale as possible. Actuating from a lowered pivot point, They extend back and out to maximize lift. They are held to the wings and flaps with m2 screws and are removable should the need for servicing arise.

Functional Exhausts - The exhausts have been implemented on the cowling to allow for airflow to escape after entering through the intake, thus making them functional in cooling the motor and ESC.

5 Bladed printed Propeller - The very scale looking 5 bladed propeller offers the final touch in scale appearance. Although reducing the top end speed performance, the low speed torque and power is increased over the stock 2 blade option. Note: This 5 bladed propeller introduces increased torque and adverse yaw effects at slow speed. Although these effects are only low to moderate, it is recommended to begin flying this model on the 2 bladed propeller and work your way up to the 5 bladed propeller.

Modular design - We strive to make our models last, however sometimes damage does happen. With the modular design, if you damage a section of the model, you can simply unscrew it from the main assembly and print a new section.

Sprung landing gear - We have teamed up with “Flit models” to produce scale landing gear specifically for this model. In doing so this model has sprung landing gear which makes landing on even the bumpiest strips a walk in the park. It also takes those “less than perfect” landings with ease without doing damage to the wing or fuselage structures.

LED lighting - This model has been designed to take 5mm LED’s. Featuring landing lights, navigational lights, tail beacon and nose gear strut lights. This model will stand out against the other printed planes at your field.

HANDY FEATURES:

removable wing - the wing is held on with x3 nylon bolts for ease of transport.

removable tail surfaces - vertical and horizontal stabilizers are held on with m2 screws so they can be removed for transport or if needing to be changed.
