3D model description

This is a box mag replacement for the fabric and cardboard box mags included with the M60. These are preferred by most over the other m60 magazine options. These are period correct to the m60 e3 onwards and would not be right period for vietnam impressions.

These boxes were made by Capco (Capawanna Company Las Vegas, NV), which began production in 1985. They are a hard plastic and will attach to the M60 standard, e3 , e4, or e6 feed hangers. They hold 100 Rounds of Linked ammo.

Approximately 1,400 of these boxes were produced by Capco. They came out around the same time that the US Military was adopting the M240 and never secured a military contract. So they never went into mass production. They were featured in a May 1989 article of Soldier of Fortune

This version has a cutout to fit the bowden feeding tube to feed the BBS.

I will be making a flashmag style insert for this as well.

3D printing settings

Recommend printing at 3 or 4 walls to keep strength up as this is likely to get hit by BBs

There are 2 versions one that prints with no supports there are long overhandgs so you can add supports there but they can be printed with minimal sagging with sufficient cooling. This version is less accurate to the real thing though.

The second verstion prints with supports and is more accurate to the real thing (at least as close as I can get to it without owning one)
