3D model description

This model was created to protect doors (usually glass). My family's haberdashery has a glass door and the customers or the wind made the door crash against the wall which generated fear that one day it would break or fracture. A previous model was generated (which is also posted here), which was a single spring but this did not work because instead of making the spring effect only bent to one side.

In case you think it is too much 4 springs you can print only 2 of them, I printed 4 to make sure that if it opens too hard the 4 springs have enough capacity to stop the door.

If you are afraid that this does not fit your need I leave the ".blend" file so you can edit it to your needs.

3D printing settings

For this it is suggested to use Nylon material, you could use filaflex or materials that have elasticity as this just seeks to recreate the spring effect. I didn't test it with PLA, in theory it would work as long as you don't hit it too hard.

On the subject of support if it is well oriented would not be necessary, even so it is suggested if it is nylon print it with lift to give a support unless you can peel off the nylon easy without problem.

On the subject of the screws use 1/8x3/4 combined tank screw by cutting them also use stamped hex nuts 1/8 zinc plated. you can use washers so that if you press the screws too much do not separate the layers printed by nylon.
