3D model description

I wasn't planning on uploading this yet but I figure I could maybe use some help with the final design.

This is my independent front suspension for the rc4wd tf2. It uses the stock tf2 front diff with cut down axle shafts. The subframe is very sturdy as is. I designed it to use a skid plate for protection and extra strength. There are a few extra parts you will have to buy to complete.

Traxxas 7034 front knuckle
Traxxas 7031 front arms
Traxxas 7032 rear arms
Traxxas 7051 complete cv axle. you will need 2 of these
then of course the bearings for the knuckles

I made my own hinge pins out of piano wire with a 1/8" brass tube as a bushing.

I only used the front and rear upper arms since I was staying with a class 0 truck. It would be possible to use the lowers if you wanted a wider stance. Say a prerunner style truck.

The shocks are still the kit shocks with helper springs. The upper mount is the stock position. An extra hole needs to be drilled into the lower arm to serve as the lower shock mount.

I will upload more pictures of the the complete set-up if needed. Be free to ask questions.

I am right now at the limits of my ability with the designing stage. There is still some bump steer in the suspension. I am hoping someone could see where I can improve it and eliminate the bump steer.
