Michael Myers Halloween Wall Art Decor Multiple STL Files

Ahh, Michael Myers... the epitome of psychopathic serial killers, brought to life in one of the best classic horror tales ever recorded on film. Now, with Halloween approaching (not that we don't love #HalloweenEveryday !) it seemed like the perfect time to bring the horrors of Haddonfield, Illinois out of the movies and into the homes of 3D printing enthusiasts everywhere!

For a variety of reasons, we chose to make our Michael Myers wall art in two forms. You'll get both STL files included with your download.

Michael Myers - Dual Layer Black and White
First is a Black and White dual layer version. It stands out well on any background surface but requires a color change halfway through the print.

Michael Myers - Single Layer White
The second is a single white plaque depicting the white of Michael's infamous mask. This one is a super easy print but requires a dark background to show it off.

The Single Layer (all white) Mike Myers Mask Silhouette is extremely easy to print. The only decision to make is whether to flip it upside down before printing. That all depends on what comes out smoother - your printer bed surface (glass usually comes out nice and smooth), or your top layer (try turning on Enable Ironing for a super smooth top finish). Decide which prints best, and which way you want Michael to be facing, then align the STL accordingly on your slicer.

Recommended Settings are:
Layer Quality / Resolution: 0.2
Initial Layer Height: 0.3
Infill: 20%
Speed: 80mm/sec
Supports: No
Plate Adhesion: None

The multi-color Michael Myers decor requires a little more attention. If your printer supports it, you'll want to set up a Pause At Height (Cura Slice -> Extensions -> Post Processing) to pause the print about halfway through. Start printing in black, then at the pause, switch to white. Here's a Quick Pause At Height Tutorial if you need it.
