3D model description

Introducing the innovative multifunctional clothes rack - a space-saving solution that seamlessly transitions between horizontal and vertical orientations.

Designed with versatility in mind, this rack optimizes your storage space while providing easy access to your wardrobe essentials. Crafted for 3D printing enthusiasts.

The fully 3D printed version is available, as well as a version with additional hardware (M5 bolts and nuts) Anyhow, I have tried the 3D printed version for some months now and it has not failed under any type of loads. All the parts fit in a standard Ender-3 style bed size (220x220mm).

Experience a new dimension of organization with this adaptable and efficient clothes rack.

For the fully 3D printed version you will need:

  • x1 MCR_Body

  • x2 MCR_Hook (choose your preferred size)*

  • x2 MCR_Fastener

For the non fully 3D printed version you will need:

  • x1 MCR_Body

  • x2 MCR_Hook_v2 (choose your preferred size)*

  • x2 MCR_Fastener_v2

  • x2 M5x16 DIN912 Socket head screw

  • x2 M5 DIN 934 Hex nut

To find the dimensions of the different hook sizs check the last two pictures.

  • The assembly shown in the video uses the hook size S

In the fully 3D printed version, I recommend applying a good amount of universal purpose glue to the hole where the "bolt" fastens to, to ensure a good bond and try to avoid failures along the layer lines under load. Please ask if you have any questions and post a make if you print this! :)

3D printing settings

Use at least 4-5 walls and 20% infill for a 0.4mm nozzle configuration.

Everything prints without support and ideally no horizontal expansion adjustments for the threads, clearances should be enough.
