The New World Order (usually shortened to nWo) was a professional wrestling stable, originally composed of "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, best known for their appearances in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in the mid to late 1990s.

The stable originated in WCW with the gimmick of a group of uncontracted wrestlers looking to take over and control WCW in the manner of a street gang. The group later appeared in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2002, following the purchase of WCW by WWE.

The nWo angle became one of the most influential forces in WCW's success from 1996 through the late 1990s and was instrumental in transforming American wrestling into a more mature product aimed at an adult audience, and became the main force behind WCW overtaking WWE in the Monday Night Wars.

The nWo storyline is generally considered one of the most successful angles in modern professional wrestling history, spawning some imitations and parodies, including groups such as the bWo, lWo and jWo. The group dominated WCW programming through the end of the decade and continued its dominance until WCW's dissolution in 2001.

In December 2019, it was announced that the nWo would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020, with founding members Hogan, Hall, Nash, as well as sixth member Sean Waltman, as inductees.
