3D model description

I own a 3Drag, and there are some things that I hate in this printer:

- with a 3 mm glass on the print bed, the X axis weighs 1.7 kilograms! the printer shakes a lot while making fast accelerations on the X axis

- no belt tensioners

- only one threaded rod on one side

- the back of the bed is not insulated

- non-standard hole spacing on the extruder mount (an E3D hotend is the best upgrade for this printer IMHO)

- default extruder can't handle flexible filaments
- every M8 threaded rod I tried for the Z axis is too much wobbly, even the stainless steel ones.

This is still a work in progess! This is only a sketch: sorry, there's nothing you can print straight away. I think I will start this project again from scratch, but with a Mendel90 frame instead.

I'm trying to make a design with lighter X / Y axis, like in the Prusa i3, but a little bit sturdier (all the smooth rods are 10 mm in diameter), using only components that can be easily found on eBay or similar.
