Battle Value: 3,640

Capabilities
The Hrothgar's weapons favor fighting at close or medium range, with a primarily enegry based load out. Twin Snub nose PPCs in the left arm, a Bombast laser, and a pair of Clan tech Improved Heavy medium lasers, provide a devastating close range punch at the cost of extreme heat build up only somewhat managed by 24 Clan tech double heat sinks.

Supplementing this, a Clan grade LB-20X autocannon with 4 tons of ammunition occupies the right arm, and the sole long range weapon system is given to the iATM-12 in the right torso, carrying 5 tons of mixed ammunition. 30 tons of Durallex Guardian Heavy Ferro Fibrous armor with Clan spec CASE II protects the machine, and with a focus on the centre torso, where reside two Boosted C3 master systems for company wide co-ordination, and a guardian ECM suit for electronics coverage. A small pulse laser in each leg helps protect the mech from swarming attacks.

Overview
Designed and built to be the ultimate symbol of Lyran defensive technologies, the Hrothgar blossomed into a White Whale for Defiance Industries as mounting costs and an ever changing Inner Sphere crumbled around them. Built as the command unit for a new "Devastation" battalion, the Hrothgar was to lead a company of assault mechs in missions where the complete levelling of a target was called for, affectionately sometimes refered to as scouting by "Lesser, less well off" nations.

Acting and the centerpoint and command hub for these lances, they would slowly advance unleashing devastation from their massive weapons batteries and shrugging off return fire, though in practice, these horrifically expensive and complicated machines were easy picking for long ranged units able to evade its withering close in firepower.

Deployment
In total, three Hrothgars were constructed, though the third was still undergoing testing and trials when the Clan Wolf and Jade Falcon invasions came, destroying the unfinished mech in the process. The remaining two were put to work in their specialist companies, often tasked with getting into the thickest fighting with Clan Wolf in particular. While the companies as a whole performed well, the Hrothgars were evidently unfinished, and some of their rushed construcion and horrifically inflated budget came to the forefront.

Most notably it was observed that the C3 master computers actively interfered with each other's boosted signals, making overall ground co-ordination much harder, and essentially requiring one of the three pilots to take on a dedicated electronics and communication role to manage the temperamental systems. The motive systems too, sluggish as they already were, were prone to jams and actuator faults, let alone the issues of crossing poor and muddy terrain, where the machine's immense weight would bog it down rendering it more a static defence platform than anything else. Albeit, one that no one wanted to approach.

3D printing settings

I do not 3D print, nor do I have anything but the most basic of modeling skills. I mainly just kitbash from other's creations to build apocryphal designs and variants. IE: the model quality and settings are probably similar to the parts I used.

At least they're free.
