3D model description

This dock allows you to charge a spare battery for the DYSON V8 cordless vacuum cleaner, and in conjunction with the quick change clip it allows the battery to be changed quickly increasing the vacuum's runtime.

(Pictures and video are of a Dyson V6, but this part is designed to fit only the V8 and the concept works the same)

The clip allows you to quickly change standard-size Dyson V8 batteries. Remove the 3 screws that hold the battery in and use the clip instead. Now you can change the battery and continue using the vacuum without having to stop to charge.

3D printing settings

Use strong filament like ABS, Nylon Blend, PETG, PLA+, (regular PLA will also work, but may break over time)
- 0.25mm layer height. (You can use smaller layer height, but it takes longer and not necessary)
- Solid Infill is best because the walls are thin. 50%+ infill with 2-3 layer thick sidewalls will also work.
