For updates, scroll down.

This is an advanced printed-in-place rc car.
It is a more complex version of the Gamma 2 PiP rc car, with a differential and suspension system.

The frame, axle, differential, steering, and wheels are all printed together.
No supports or screws needed.

1/28 scale - 98mm wheelbase.

WARNING

This is a complicated print. I suggest printing the free Gamma 2 version first before attempting this version.

IMPORTANT

Please refer to image titled "CHECK BEFORE PRINTING.jpg". Your slicer preview must show the circled structures (under the top front wheel). If they do not appear, then you will need to adjust your slicer settings.

NOZZLE SIZE

0.4mm
!! Larger nozzle size will NOT work
!! Smaller nozzle size will work

LAYER HEIGHT

0.2mm
!! Larger layer height will NOT work
!! Smaller layer height will work

SUGGESTED NOZZLE TEMPERATURE

PLA: 199-203
PETG: 235

BED TEMPERATURE

PLA: 60
PETG: 60

SPEED

PLA: 50mm/s
PETG: 35mm/s
!! I do not recommend printing faster than this. It has tight tolerances. Printing too fast will cause the wheels to fuse and not spin.

COOLING FAN

PLA: 100%
PETG: 50%

INFILL

20-60%
!! I usually do 25%

BRIM

Not necessary, but can be added if it's having trouble sticking to your print bed.

SUPPORTS

No

RAFT

No

IS IT RESIZABLE?

LARGER - yes, easily. If you make it 150% or larger, you can even use 0.3 layer height. You will need to find suitable screws and motor.
SMALLER - ONLY if you reduce nozzle size. You can print it at 75% if you use a 0.3 nozzle and a layer height of 0.15. This will make sure that all the supports print to scale.
