These are some VERY simple mounting brackets I made to mount an old spare Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 to the wall just outside my master bedroom. That way i can quickly check my cameras and doorbell when someone comes to the door or a package delivery is detected.

This is especially helpful early in the morning or in the middle of the night when no one is expected and I was asleep.

I made this for the Tab 4 with a thickness of about 8.4mm, the slot is 8.5mm so there should be enough room for the tablet to slide in/out easily. For a tighter fit, some felt can be glued to the back surface of the slot for some friction. Having two separate parts allows for easy adjustment for various models and sizes of tablets, of course providing they are not more than 8.5mm thick. You CAN always reszie the Z axis if you have a thicker (or thinner) tablet.

An 5 to 8 inch tablet is best when used in a landscape position. If you want a larger tablet, you can again adjust the neccessary axis. Same goes for a portrait orientation. Though for that I would mirror the Right Side Mount (the one without the charger plug cut out). The cut out is of course placed for my tablet with the charging port on the right hand side where my door frame would be. You can always use your slicer's mirror function to switch it.

In order to separate the parts into individual objects just use your slicer's "split to parts" function. I uploaded them as one to keep the upload simple as far as Thingiverse's known to be buggy file system was concerned As far as I know PrusaSlicer, Cura and BambuStudios all have this feature. Please, don't ask me to reupload, mirror or redsign such a simple object for such simple adjustments. If you can NOT make these adjustments yourself, then you REALLY should NOT be 3D printing. Honestly, these are basic tasks all users of 3D printers should know how to do.

There are AMPLE videos and tutorials covering it on the 'net.

Now, I DID include the source 3DS Max file, so you can import it into what ever 3D/CAD app you want in order to make more advanced changes.

Print the parts with the long side flat on the bed with the short ends and tablet slots facing up. The screw holes should be perpendicular to the bed. This should negate any neccessity for supports.

I used PLA, any filament and or color will work.

Choice of infill settings can be determined by just how strong you want the mounts. Higher infill, stronger the mount and of course heavier the mount. Even at 100% infill they wouldn't really be all that heavy, just a few ounces. Your tablet would be the heaviest item and would be the deciding factor on the choice of screws used and or wall anchors if would be needed. Simple plastic dry-wall "mollies" should be sufficient for most modern tablets.
