3D model description

  • Wammy Bar Mechanism: Replacement wammy bar holder/mechanism for those who have experienced the wammy bar not springing back to it's resting position. The finger on the inside has likely broken off. This model has a thicker finger feature for more rigidity.

  • Fret Button: X-Plorer style fret button, will work for any of the 5 buttons. You must remove the rubber pads from the original buttons and place it onto the 3D printed one

  • Wammy Bar Spring Retaining Clips: These are the clips that hold the spring in place. These will likely not break, but I've provided them just in case.

These files have been tested and are proven to work. There may be variance depending on printer setting and type of printer. They have been designed for FDM. In the downloadable files you will find a sldprt file and stp file for those who have 3D modeling software and wish to make changes. Otherwise, the STL's files are ready to print.

3D printing settings

  • Wammy Bar Mechanism - Print with finger feature facing up for best rigidity while in use. Low Infill percentage will be fine, would recommend 3-5 walls and 3-5 top/bottom layers.

-Fret button: Print flat on build plate, low infill percentage with 3-5 walls and top/botton layers

Wammy Bar Spring Retaining Clips: print these solid (100% infill) .
