Silent Hamster Wheel

This is a hamster wheel I designed, using 22 mm bearing, so it's completely silent and hamsters don't wake up my kids anymore during the night... :)

Assembly is relatively simple:
- Wheel with grips inside
- Wheel screw, to hold the bearing and 8 mm screw inside
- Back holder, so you can fix the wheel to the cage

Assembled with:
- Bearing FAG 608-2Z-C3, 22 mm outer diameter, 8 mm inner diameter, 7 mm thickness
- M8x60 screw with hex head
When assembling first put bearing inside the wheel from the back side. It can be quite tight and you might need some force. After that push the screw from the inner side of the wheel through the bearing and screw on "Wheel screw" again from backside. Bearing needs to be now fixed in firmly, while screw can rotate freely! At this point it's ready to be mounted on the cage using "Back holder" (you need to print it 2 times, as you need to fasten it from inside and outside of the cage).

I printed PLA 30% infil 0.15 resolution. Correctly positioned and with a calibrated printer, you will need no supports. Alternatively you can use supports for the part where the bearing goes in on the wheel, but be careful to use only "touching buildplate" supports and only for over 85% overhangs, as there is a thread inside and having supports on those will be a pain in the a** to remove.
