This baby basilisk just can't wait to be king of the serpents. Until then, he's content to lounge about and strike a pose for you and your friends.

With all the other dragons and flexis out and about, the baby basilisk is looking to make his mark on the world.

This flexible, articulated fidget toy incorporates the unique Mimetics 3D Snap-Flex joint, allowing each body segment to wiggle freely OR snap into a fixed position to maximize your fidget experience.

This Baby Basilisk is the first in a line of Snap-Flex models by Mimetics 3D, and is available for free for a limited time on Thangs: https://than.gs/m/925954

Be sure to check back regularly for more exciting Snap-Flex models in the future. I'd love to hear your feedback and how we can improve this model together moving forward.

This model is for personal use only.

3D printing settings

0.2mm Layer Height
3 Wall Loops
3 Top Shell Layers

These tolerances are TIGHT and you'll likely have to snap each segment a few times before its loose enough snap/unsnap easily. I recommend you use PLA or PLA+. ABS might be even better, but I haven't tried it yet.

Silk PLA is a bit softer and may not click as nicely. I'd also be more concerned about silk PLA holding up to the wear and tear.

If you print this in resin, please let me know how it turns out. I imagine you would need a more flexible/less stiff resin for it to work appropriately.
