3D model description

Organizers for Twilight Imperium 4th edition board game with Prophecy of Kings expansion. Codex expansion is also considered here. It is designed for cards in sleeves (sleeves: 11 µm, 44 x 67 mm).
Organizers fit both game boxes (base and expansion) very well, they provide quick game set up and comfort during the play. Sliding lids protect components from falling out during the storage. Theme cutouts decorate lids.

The set contains:
- Unit organizer, container,
- Unit organizer, 8 different lids,
- Player's card storage container,
- Player's card holder,
- Regular Faction organizer,
- 2hexes Faction organizer,
- 3hexes Faction organizer,
- Resources organizer with lid,
- Dice tray with lid,
- Exploration card tray with lid,
- Planet&Relic card organizer with lid,
- Strategy&Objective card organizer with lid,
- 2 deck organizer (for Agenda & Secret objective cards and for Action cards),
- Blue System tile organizer,
- Red&other System tile organizer,
- Large token container with lid,
- Small token container with lid.

UNIT ORGANIZER:
All player's units are organized in a functional and nice-visual arrangement. Contours on the plate indicate where to put each kind of unit. There's also a hatch for a chosen-in-game Strategy cards. It is big: 207 x 213 mm.
A sliding lid closes the Unit container. There are 8 different lids provided for each player. Decorative cutouts are related to the TI universe.

PLAYER'S CARD STORAGE CONTAINER: Basic player's cards are divided in 3 groups and accommodated in 3 slots in a simple Storage card container. Thanks to several posts inside the Unit container, it can be kept firmly there in place during the storage.

PLAYER'S CARD HOLDER: During the play different types of player's cards are organized here: 4 types of Technology decks: blue, green, yellow and red, Unit upgrade technology cards and Promissory Note cards. Decks are arranged in cascade, so you can see the name and cost of the first card in each deck. Cutouts in the front wall ensure visibility of Unit's values after the upgrade. Back walls are not vertical, but slightly slanted to provide very good view.

FACTION ORGANIZER: There are 3 types of Faction organizers: Regular, 2hexes and 3hexes. 2hexes is for the Embers of Muaat, because they have 2 System tiles and 3hexes is for Council Keleres (from Codex expansion), because they have have 3 System tiles. Regular is for the rest.
All components of one Faction are kept in one box: Command tokens, Control tokens and all cards (Planet, Leaders, Mech unit, Technology etc.) Only the Sheet doesn't fit here ;). The Faction system tile is used as a sliding lid! Command tokens and Control tokens are kept in separate sections. Rounded bottom facilitates the draw. Cards are kept on the shelf above smaller tokens. Indentations facilitate taking cards out.

RESOURCES ORGANIZER: This is an organizer for Fighter, Infantry and Trade good/ Commodity tokens. Large and small tokens of each type are separated. Thus there are 6 sections. Rounded bottom facilitates token draw. Two of such organizers should be 3d printed to contain all components. They can be placed on 2 sides of the table to be reachable for all players during the play.

DICE TRAY: It functions as a container for dice and Speaker token during the storage. But you can use it comfortably as a dice tray during the play. (Its size corresponds with Faction organizer.)

EXPLORATION CARD TRAY: 4 types of exploration cards are kept in the 4 slot tray. Sloped bottom and indentations facilitate the draw. Cutouts in the floor and the lid suggest tile arrangement.

PLANET&RELIC CARD ORGANIZER: In the Planet organizer there are 3 sections. The largest one is for Planet cards. Behind them, there are 2 small sections for: Legendary Planet Ability cards and Relic cards. Sloped back walls and indentations facilitate the draw and the serration helps keeping cards in order.

STRATEGY&OBJECTIVE CARD ORGANIZER: There are 3 slots for 3 types of cards: I and II Objective cards and Strategy cards.

2 DECK ORGANIZER: There are 2 parallel sections for 2 decks of cards. Sloped back wall and indentations facilitate the draw. Two of such organizers should be 3d printed to provide accommodation for: Agenda & Secret objective cards and for Action cards (divided in 2 piles).

BLUE SYSTEM TILE HOLDER: All blue System tiles are kept here. Indentations facilitate taking them out.

RED&OTHER SYSTEM TILE HOLDER: There are 3 slots. The first one is for red System tiles, later Mecatol Rex with Hyperlane tiles. Two large special tiles are kept in the largest pocket.

LARGE TOKEN CONTAINER: Large tokens are kept in a simple container that can be placed above the Red&other system tile holder. Here are kept for example: Custodians token, Wormhole tokens, Mirage and Destroyed planet tokens.

SMALL TOKEN CONTAINER: There are 2 sections: for Frontier tokens and for Attachment tokens. Its shape is related to its position in the game box during the storage: it is kept above 2 rows of hexagonal Faction organizers.

Almost all organizers fit 2 boxes: base game and expansion. Only the Player's card holders must be kept separately. The arrangement of organizers is shown in the pictures.
The expansion box is intended for 23 regular Faction organizers, Dice tray, 2 Resources organizers, 4 card organizers and Small token organizer.
The base game box accommodates: 8 Unit organizers, System tiles organizers, Large token container, Planet card organizer and 2 larger Faction organizers. Game books, Players and Faction sheets can be kept on top of Unit organizers.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Special thanks to Arimistar and his friends. This design wouldn't have happened without their support.

3D printing settings

All organizers were 3Dprinted on Prusa MK4:
- in PLA (F3D Blue pearl),
- No support is needed,
- Infill 10-15% gyroid,
- Use 0.15 mm layer height (at least for lids and lid's guides to ensure they work very well),
- 0.2 mm layer height is ok for Player's card container and System tile organizers.
- Monotonic top and bottom fill provides good quality of lids.
Note1: I use slightly changed default Print settings "0.15mm SPEED MK4" in PrusaSlicer.
Note2: Unit organizer is very large - its dimensions are: 207 x 213 mm. I used 1.7 mm brim width, so it fits the bed area of Prusa MK4.
Note3: Be aware that 3d printing of all organizers (without Input Shaper) takes 29 days. You need at least 4.6 kg of filament.
