1/6th Scale functional Sherman tank Commander and Loader Basket seats

This is my 1/6th scale functional Commander and Loader basket seats. There are 4 different seats in the Sherman turret. The gunner's seat is completely different, but the basket seats for the Commander and Loader are basically the same. The loader's seat frame bracket is welded to one of the Basket leg supports, the commander's seat has a bracket welded to the band at the top of the basket. These 2 seats allow the Commander and Loader to ride together at the basket level. The Commander's basket seat is used to step up into his turret hatch seat, which is another slightly different design. Note if you sit or stand a figure on the basket seats, I recommend you fabricate a dump bar from brass bar based on my dimensions to properly withstand the figure's weight..

Stl file rotated for best print quality. Note white filament is recommended, as all interior items were painted white to maximize available light. The seat pad itself should be painted black. The lock spring should be fabricated from wire; I have not found an actual spring that was satisfactory...yet. Also note the bolt mounting holes are included in the design if you want to use real micro fasteners instead. Other wise use the included Bolt "nubs" to hold the pieces in alignment; extra nubs are included as they are finicky. All of my models have been test printed on a PRUSA i3 MK3 filament printer.
