3D model description

Detailed design of the chainsaw links used for the Lollipop Chainsaw and other Chainsaw designs. These are ready for printing, No Supports Needed and placed on optimal side for printing. The spikes on the chain are flush to the body and with a slight curve so they don't break like the ones out there that are so delicate. I'm including several files like full set on 1 file and individual files for printing different qualities and speed. For the strait part of the chainsaw use the long link print (ready for printing, no supports needed) and for the curve part use the individual "flat" version which is easy to assemble and will make it easy for bending. Easily useable on printers that are 220x220x250mm and over for long links and any size printer for the flat version. Update: I added 2 new STL files called Chainsaw-Links-Flat-Perfect-fit and 487, this one I have been using to assemble the entire chain as well if your looking for it to all bend easy or to use it as a moving rotating chain. Best performance for it is at 100% infill using lines on super 0.12mm, will make it literally perfect. The one called final has a small perfect grove so the top clip only goes down so far. Tip: If you are planning to use the print-in-place long version and want it to bend and have a multi-filament printer or AMS use PETG for the Pins and PLA for the chains or vise-versa for easy break points and bends. If you print the chains in PETG Silver make sure you use a hot bed on your settings.

3D printing settings

Can be printed at standard (0.2mm), dynamic (0.16mm), or super 0.12mm, 0.08mm. If using for the flat part of the chainsaw you can use the long links and simply print at standard (0.2mm). I recommend at least a 25% infill if your planning to bend. For the smaller flat version you can print up to a 100% infill and they are almost unbreakable. For the PINS if you are going to print those individually, depending on the quality of your filament set it to 100% infill, they are very small and print very fast so it's worth those couple of minutes more for the quality.
