3D model description

This is the 24mm version of my Sputnik series of model rockets.

To build this rocket you will need:
*a piece of 24mm (BT-50) body tube,
* kevlar cord for a shock cord
* 15" Parachute
* 5mm (3/16") dowel
* 150mm of 1/4" dowel (optional, you can also print the "Stand Rod" part instead)

The motor tube should extend into the nose cone with a snug, but not tight fit. It should be snug enough that the body doesn't fall out on the launch pad, but lose enough that the parts will still separate with the ejection charge.

These rockets produce a loud "crack" at ejection, which is quite fun.
