Overview
The Harpy was a new VTOL that came out of the Free Worlds
League at the height of the FedCom Civil War. It had what some saw as a strange array of weaponry but capable pilots were able to use them effectively, mostly at longer ranges. The design still was not very well received however, though it did find use through the Jihad. By the age of the ilClan though, it was mostly extinct.

Capabilities
Sporting an ER Large Laser and Ultra AC/2, the Harpy worked
best far away from its targets. Curiously, it was also equipped with a Small Laser in the nose. Four and a half tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor provide the chopper with decent protection.

Deployment
The Harpy was designed and built mostly for use in the FWLM
but during the Jihad, Brigadier began selling them to mercenaries as well. They could be found operating on worlds throughout the Inner Sphere and Periphery alike during these dangerous years before production halted and the number of remaining Harpy’s dwindled in the Dark Age.
