Impression

Since it has details, it's best to print it with an SLA printer, but feel free to print it in FDM with a 0.4mm nozzle.

A keycap is all very well, but for what kind of switches?

There are different keycaps for different switches.

MX type stem (4U Mount and 6U Mount) :

• 1.59 x 1.59 x 4.7mm* (switchkey-stem2.stl)

And smaller dimensions (switchkey-stem2.stl)

• 1.25 x 1.25 x 4.2mm* (switchkey-stem1.stl)

And for which key?

It's not modeled for a specific fingerboard, but be careful: although it doesn't have too much relief, it can be used, but it may not be pleasant in the long run.

**A problem?

If one of the files doesn't suit you, don't hesitate to contact me.

The images are rendering images, so when you print the model with your printer, the keycap will be colorless. You'll need to paint it to render it more realistically.

SLA PRINTING

Printer: ELEGOO MARS

Raft: 100%, 0.8mm

Inclination: For the ELEGOO MARS, which is a 2K printer, an inclination of 63.59% is required.

But this factor will depend on your printer.

Here's the calculation:

arctan( layer height / printer pixel size ) * 180/π

Support: Yes, just be careful of the print unhooking due to the suction cup effect. For my part, I used medium supports on Chitubox.
