3D model description

I found releasing and fastening blades on my scroll saw very annoying, when using the original lock nut: Rotating the nut takes ages and when fastening the blade, you always have to find the right position to achieve the correct tension on the blade...

So I designed this eccentric fastener for my Proxxon DS460 sroll saw. Now releasing and fastening the blade takes just a blink of an eye.

Also, if you do not rotate the fastener, the tension when pushing down the lever is always the same. I am so happy with the result!

The lever should also work for any other scroll saw (and any other tool) that has a M6 thread at the fastener.

The fastener has been designed using OpenSCAD. I have provided the source code for download, so you can adjust the design to your needs.

Happy printing! - And then please post a Make! Thank you very much!
