3D model description

Replica of the Micro 4 inch muzzle brake. Added 14mm CCW threads for airsoft replica use and realistic markings from an old promo picture. Standard disclaimer - THIS CANNOT be used on an actual firearm. Print and use at your own risk.

Shoutouts to https://www.thingiverse.com/RafaelSoaresP for the inspiration (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2329483).

... and to https://www.thingiverse.com/mming1106 for what I turned into workable threads (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:741776). You both are awesome 3d modelers!

Update 9 Oct 2018: Added a cleaned up Micro 4 inch with a redone base (V2) to look much more like production military model Surefires. Note for historical accuracy: the Micro 4 inch supressor was never used by the US military - it was marketed to law enforcement as a muzzle brake only. The actual pic posted is from my first print of the micro on an airsoft M4 (it is the first .stl posted here - not the V2). Keep posted as I will post some different length SOCOM models with accurate markings in the near future if there is any interest.

Update 24 Jan 2019: Removed some original models and replaced with 4 newer models. Enjoy.

Update 27 May 2019: Redid the 5in Mini Monster so the cap was aligned to the body.

Update 15 June 2019: Added an even shorter version of the micro that has the threads inset further up inside the suppressor body. I'm also going to simplify some of the existing models so the file size isn't as big (without losing noticeable detail).

Printing Note: I've found the best results printing these upside down. That way, the threads aren't surrounded with vertical supports. It does mean the front cap of the Surefire will need some sanding to smooth it out, but it will screw on much better.

Update 13 Feb 2021: Got a couple spare moments and did a repair job on the 5in Mini in NETFABB. Uploaded it. Let me know if you guys are still running into the same "needs repair" alert when opening.
