3D model description

Overland pop-up camper shell for Traxxas TRX-4M Chevrolet K10 (1:18).

Design was heavily inspired by @bigassgas8.1 's Phoenix Camper.

Utilizes original rollbar holes and screws to attach, all parts are to be glued together - no additional hardware is needed. Roof is ment to be kept in place by friction.

Complete camper from PLA weighs around 65g. Low weight was a priority when designing this camper, the outer shell is made to be three perimeters (1,2mm) thick, please note that it will not hold long if used as an basher.

I've used super glue to fix in place all accessories and Patex 100% universal glue for the window panes.

To trace window shapes, please see attached archive, there is an PDF template. Do not forget to set scale at 100% before printing. Use thin clear plastic to cut out from, preferably scraps of lexan.

All parts are designed without gaps, depending on your printer's tolerances and used filament you may need to trim some holes to fit parts together.

Solar panel as shown on photos is made by printing two inserts: transparent with aligned infill and black backing plate.

🚨 Please note that the printed product falls under Cults Private Use license and it is not to be sold on Etsy, eBay, FB marketplace, etc...

3D printing settings

Print main body oriented upside down, with supports as shown in the last image. I highly recomend using brim.

The rest of the parts prints without supports.
Print 2 pcs of roof rack bars.

Main body takes around 8 hours to print at 0.15 layer height, roof and bottom lid adds another hour and a half. The rest is made under an hour.
