3D model description

Model based on Utsuho's "Third Leg"/"Control Rod".
Multiple body pieces can be printed and linked together using the insert piece. Parts to build a simple USB-powered LED light at 300% scale are included in the file, with a sample body piece for a generic power switch and lithium-ion battery control board for power banks and self-powered lights. Included LED assembly includes holes for 18 5mm LEDs and channels for up to two 22awg wires, and is intended to be glued to the insert piece.

3D printing settings

Example model was printed in PLA using standard manufacturer-recommended settings, with the body pieces at 300% scale and one body piece slightly elongated even further to provide room for cables and the USB power output. Power switch was pulled from a dead ATX power supply and bypassed for the USB power out, and a generic power control board for a lithium ion battery was used in the rear end, with a generic 18650 lithium cell and prewired 18650 holder.
