3D model description

This is a food dish designed specifically for travel. It's best suited for cats and small dogs. The internal volume is capable of holding 3oz of kibble (to include when closed). It can hold just enough food internally for short trips or carry a small bag of food for longer trips to top it off. It is recommended for dry food although it could be used for wet food. When in use, the lid can also be used as a shallow water dish, but it will need to be thoroughly dried before reclosing.
It uses a custom thread profile that is easy to 3D print and only requires about a half turn to open or close.

Files are available in both STL and 3MF

3D printing settings

Intended to be printed from filament. Recommend using 0.2mm layer height or less. If you have a printer capable of printing multiple colors, you can print the inlays from different colors to stand out. Alternatively, if the inlay prints first, you can do a color swap with a single-color printer after they're printed but before starting the rest.
