3D model description

I have designed a belt with a belt buckle that works for everyday use. The belt can be printed in different colors and can also be used for cosplay for example. The belt has a width of 35mm, but I believe you can scale it up to +20x% in height, minus scaling only works with supports!

Buckle:

For the belt buckle you need a piece of wire with a diameter of approx. 1.5mm or a larger paper clip. Bend a clasp as shown in the photo. You can mark the buckle with your slicer. The belt buckle is suitable for left and right-sided use, simply insert the clasp into the other side.

Belt:

Measure your waist, then choose a belt with your size (refer to the picture with the measurements). The belt is printed in a spiral, it adapts to the body. You can see the blue belt in the photo, it has already been used for 10 days.

The belts each come with an STL file and a 3MF file, with the 3MF file you can only open the required holes with the slicer if the unused free holes bother you. ]

I've been wearing the belt daily for over two months now and it works wonderfully.

ATTENTION: Download the correct size, this belt is 80cm!

UPDATE: 29.03.2024: The belt in PLA lasts about 3 months, with daily use. I am currently testing the belt in PETG, which will last longer. The belt buckle holds up well in PLA.

If you want other lengths, please contact me.

3D printing settings

The belt buckle:

PLA, with edge, without support, 15% infill, 0.2 - 0.3mm layer, 2 wall lines.

For the belts:

PLA, or PETG with edge, 0.2 - 0.3mm layer, 2 wall lines with 0.4mm nozzle. The belt should then be fully filled. I have had bad experiences with "input shaper", the layers are not as stable!

You may need support for the holes, but it worked for me without support.

The print bed must be at least 210 mm wide.
