M3 Medium Tank "Lee" 1:35

This model was created from scratch using Blender 3D

The M3 Lee, officially Medium Tank, M3, was an American medium tank used during World War II. The turret was produced in two forms, one for US needs and one modified to British requirements to place the radio next to the commander. In British Commonwealth service, the tank was called by two names: tanks employing US pattern turrets were called "Lee," named after Confederate general Robert E. Lee, while those with British pattern turrets were known as "Grant," named after Union general Ulysses S. Grant.

The model measurements after printing are:

1:35 or 100% scale 162mm Long x 78mm Wide x 87mm Tall

1:56 or 62.5% scale 101mm Long x 48mm Wide x 54mm Tall

The model is divided into 23 pieces :

Body Lower, Body Top, Turret (A, B, C pieces), Boogies x6, Front & Rear Wheels x2, Track Parts x8.

i will be uploading an assembly guide for the model (it takes a while) in a few days

Please let me know of any issues with any of the files, or any missing piece, also if i messed up and forgot to add some mirrored part please let me know also.

For Sla Printing:

This mode has a lot of thin details, make sure you add a fair ammount of supports and angle the tracks so that theyre standing, then rotate to have the least amount of overhangs for better surface finish

make sure to hollow the model and add draining holes when needed, make sure to angle the parts in such a way that there are not flat parts, to decrease sagging on the model.
