3D model description

This is a hook designed for hanging pictures and other decorations on drywall. Utilizing small nails to minimize the holes in the walls (useful for renters) this device is able to firmly hold most picture frames. While I take no responsibility for anything hung using this print, I personally use this design for picture frames as heavy as 3lbs (1.36kg).

Designed to be used with three 18 gauge brad nails or finishing nails, installation is as easy as hammering said nails through the three holes. Because the picture is partially supported by the bottom nail, there is little risk of failure due to plastic deformation over time. However, use of this device leads to a significantly stronger hanger than using a single nail on its own.

3D printing settings

Recommended to print laying on its side, for best strength across the hook portion. However, any print orientation should be sufficient.

Print settings:
- PLA
- 0.2mm layer height
- 200C extruder, 50C bed
